Patricia Lynn Burris, age 66, of Salem, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Burris was born May 30, 1955 in Seymour, Indiana the daughter of Delbert Taskey and Louise Holloman Taskey.
She was a member of Legacy Life Church, Salem Moose Lodge, and American Legion Post #41. She was a 1973 graduate of Seymour High School.
She is survived by her husband: Randy Burris Sr. of Salem they were married December 15, 1973. She is also survived by two sons: Randy Lynn Burris Jr. of Salem, and Delbert Ross Burris (Whitney) of Salem, three daughters: Brandy Jones of Salem, Sandra Burris of Louisville, and Karen (Darin) Edwards of Madison, two brothers: John Taskey (Leona) of Seymour, and Omer Taskey (Margaret) of Edinburg, two sisters: Brenda Lewis (Gary) of Scipio, IN, and Rosetta Lashlee (Scott) of Ft. Myers, FL, eleven grandchildren: Aaron M. Burris, Chelsey Burris, Kate Burris, Logan Jones, CJ Jones, Shalynn Jones, Gregory Cotton III, Caitlin Edwards, Kimmie Edwards, Lincoln Burris, and Hudson Burris, and 5 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by two sisters: Doris Vancuren, and Deborah Jo Taskey, and her parents.
A memorial service will be held at 5:30 P.M. Monday, July 12 at Legacy Life Church. Visitation with the family will be held from 3PM-until time of service at the church. Arrangements by Weathers Funeral Home.
