Bradley Smith, of Wellington, KY, passed away Friday, April 29, 2022, at Saint Claire Regional Medical Center, Morehead, KY, at the age of 81 years, 9 months, and 8 days.

Bradley was born July 21, 1940 at Woodman, KY a son of the late Ballard and Betty Prater Smith. He was a retired coal miner, member of Salt Lick Lodge #682, F. & A. M., El Hasa Shrine Temple, Ashland, KY and the Morehead, KY Shrine Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death his wife, Rosalea Smith, brothers: Brady Smith, Jimmy Smith and 2 infant brothers and a granddaughter: Christina Clay-Casey.

Survivors include his daughters: Tiffany Diehl (Shawn) of Wellington, KY, Lenora Clay (Scott) of Louisa, KY and Melissa Smith of Pike County, KY, a grandson: Jeremy Clay of Winchester, KY, a sister: Irene Huddle of Bluefield, WV, brothers: Kenneth, Roy Lee and Roger Smith, all of Pike County, KY. Also surviving are 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday evening May 2, 2022 from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home, Salt Lick, KY. Public Masonic Rites will be conducted at 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home by Salt Lick Lodge #682 F. & A. M..

Committal service and burial will be Tuesday May 3, 2022 at 3:00 PM in Clay Family Cemetery, 3677 Spankem Branch Road, Louisa, KY 41230.
