Louis was born on October 27, 1948 in Milan Missouri to Harold and Rosalie (Gillespie) Jones.
Louis grew up in Wells with his six siblings. He attended school in Wells, graduated in 1967. He worked for Banquet Foods in Wells and Wilson's in Albert Lea. He proudly served in the US Army, serving during Vietnam. Louis married Ann Lee in 1974 and to this union daughter, Melissa was born. Louis was a devoted Vikings and Twins fan. He always wanted to talk about the games, won or lost.
He is survived by his sisters, Judy (Danny) Werner of Wells, Loretta Neff of Waseca, Patricia (Gary) Tetzloff of Waseca, Rosa Fette of Wells; daughter, Melissa; grandsons, Gavin and Brett; and many nieces and nephews.
Louis was preceded in death by his parents, Harold (Marcella) Jones and Rosalie (Harley) Rasmussen; and brothers, Terry and Dickie.
Interment in Fort Snelling National Cemetery
