HEALDTON -- Services for Raymond Harrison, 63, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. David Daniel officiating. Military honors will be conducted by U.S. Air Force personnel. Interment will be at Mount Olive Cemetery.

Mr. Harrison was born Aug. 11, 1936, at Fittstown, Okla., to William F. and Mary Ann Brady Harrison. He died Jan. 30, 2000, in the local hospital.

He was reared in Fittstown and graduated from McLish High School. He married Barbara Ann Goodmon on July 13, 1962, at Fittstown, and they moved to Healdton in 1967 from Pauls Valley. His wife preceded him in death on Nov. 21, 1999.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1957 to 1961 and coached little league baseball in Pauls Valley and Healdton, as well as being active in his children's sports. He worked as a truck driver for Dowell, Conoco, Oilwell Cementers and Brady Machine and Tool. He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

Raymond, better known as "Grampy," will be missed. He was loved by many and always gave a helping hand to anyone in need. He and Barbara were married 37 years and we know they are now together in God's home. Good friend, good father, good brother -- a great loss will be felt by all.

Survivors include a son, Michael Ray Harrison,; daughter, Paula Jean Harrison and granddaughter, Brittani Rae Harrison, all of Healdton; three brothers, William F. Harrison Jr., Wewoka, and twin brothers, Jerry and Gary Harrison, both of Fittstown; two sisters, Jean Brown Wilburn, Okemah, and Mary Lou Milliken Phillips, Skiatook; and a sister-in-law, Mollie Bell, Healdton.

Bearers will be Bill Brady, Jerry Hayes, Tim Benton, James Burt, Mike Cox, Meryl Cantwell and Tracy Auld.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Reser Funeral Home.
