James was formerly of Kevil, KY.
He was born to his parents, Buford (Boots) and Imogene Burkhart Lynch on November 24, 1954.
He was an avid fisherman and hunter, he enjoyed watching western television shows and movies. He dearly loved his family especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by one son, William Lynch (Rusty) of Lone Oak; a daughter Melissa Cooper (Michael) of Barlow, KY; one brother Danny (Red) of Benton, KY; a sister Celina Jones of Benton, KY; four grandchildren, Bella Lynch, McKinsey Cooper, Cole Lynch, and Mason Cooper. Several nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his wife, Suzanne Cook Lynch, two grandchildren, a brother, Lonnie Lynch, a sister Kay Wilkerson and his parents.
Funeral services will be Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Wes Morehead officiating.
Interment will follow at Burkhart Cemetery in Graves County.
