She loved to travel, garden, paint and sew. Her many travels around the globe gave her wonderful memories and lasting friendships. Her memory lives on thru the many treasures she created whether painted, sewn or crafted.
Growing up in West Newbury she enjoyed the days spent at the family homestead where her many aunts, uncles and cousins would gather. This Carr family homestead represented 9 generations of family and was a source of history and pride for her. She kept many family heirlooms and documents, many dating back to the mid and late 1800's.
Her life was full and her blessings were many but she was no stranger to sorrow. She is predeceased by her brother, Frank Wormwood Jr, her husband, William Wood and her son Roderick Wood. While she carried these tragedies with a heavy heart she developed an inner strength that carried her thru an amazing 92 years. She was beautiful, strong and loved. She will be dearly missed.
