Robert Edmund Eoff was the youngest child of Jasper Newton Eoff and Permelia Christian. His siblings were Alva (Eoff) Gooch, Ava Eoff, Dalah (Eoff) Austin, William Bryan Eoff, and an infant (b.& d. 1896). His parents had moved to Texas before 1900 living first in Erath County and then moving to Dawson County. Robert married Gladys Lano Key, daughter of Jim & Lena M Key, Nov. 28, 1923 in Dawson County. They had two children, Jimmie Larue Eoff and Wayne Edd Eoff.

Edd was a farm laborer on his father's farm in 1920. He and Gladys moved to Roswell, Chavez Co, New Mexico by 1930 where Edd was a bus driver. He died in Tatum, Lea Co, New Mexico at the age of 72 years. Gladys (Key) Eoff died in 1965 and also is buried in Tatum Cemetery.
