Joyce Marie Phillips was born March 24, 1952 in Anniston, Alabama. She was a kind & loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed goofing off with her grandkids, laughing at funny video clips, playing Bingo & slot games. She retired in 2018 after 20 years at UT Health Northeast. Thereafter, she spent most of her time cooking & trying new recipes, interior decorating, gardening, fishing, and relaxing watching movies.
Joyce Marie Phillips departed this life shortly after her 7Oth birthday on April 23, 2022, surrounded by family. Joyce is reunited in Heaven with her granddaughter, Bailie Renee Phillips; five Siblings, Rita Tucker, James L. Russell, Nancy Gray, Elaine Wallace & Dale Bedwell; and parents, Lewis & Audrey Russell.
Those left to forever cherish her memories are two daughters, Stacie Phillips of Chandler Texas and Misty (Ethmar) Dorsey of Edom Texas; three sons, James (Rachel) Phillips Jr. of Lindale, Texas, Christopher (Tiffani) Phillips of Mineola, Texas, and Dusty (Ashley)Phillips of Tyler, Texas; three sisters, Patsy O'kelly of Iron City, Alabama, Deborah Kidd of Tyler, Texas, Peggy (Larry) Moffeit of Bullard, Texas; eighteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
