Louis L. Butler was born June 12, 1944, to the late Marion Gomez Butler and Hannon R. Butler.
He was the 11th of 12 children.
Louis received his education from Lowery High School in Donaldsonville, LA.
He entered holy matrimony in the 1960's to Alice Brown, and to this union two chidden were born, one son and one daughter.
He and his family later moved to Los Angeles, CA, where they raised both of their children, where he worked for Los Angeles Rapid Transit Bus Company for 23 years, before retiring.
He is survived by his two children, Tracy Butler and Aaron Butler and one stepson, Kenneth Brown, five grandchildren, Robert, Jacoby, Jaida, Ari and Little D., one great-grandchild, Zamora, four sisters, Amanda Whittfield (Samuel) Carson, California, Maxine Mills (Charles deceased) Los Angeles, CA, Mercedes Anderson Pamdale, CA, and Claudette Adams (Alvin Landry deceased) Donaldsonville, LA.
One uncle, August Lester Gomez of Donaldsonville, LA, countless nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hannon Butler and Marion Gomez, three sisters, Juanita Lee, Ruby Jackson, Romana Maxwell, four brothers John, Lionel, Hannon, Jr., and Alfred Butler.
