We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2022, at the age of 63, Edward Lee Burks of El Dorado, Arkansas, born in Newport Beach, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Paul Edward Burks; and his step-father Carroll Belin. He is survived by : his mother Christine Belin of Marion, Louisiana; his wife Tonda Burks of El Dorado; his daughter Jennifer Hooter (Jeremy) of Pendleton; his siblings, Rusty Burks (Brenda) of Camden, Libby Hughes (Robert) and Nancy Nicholson (Terry) of El Dorado; and his grandchildren, Marlee Grace Hooter and Maddox Wade Hooter of Pendleton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 27th 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Perry's Funeral Chapels (312 W Oak St #229, El Dorado, AR 71730).Edward "Eddie" Lee Burks, 63, of El Dorado passed away on April 23, 2022. He was born on November 21, 1958 in Newport Beach, California to the late Paul Edward Burks and Christine Belin. Eddie was a natural athlete who loved sports. He was an avid Razorbacks fan, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a member of Pace Hunting Club. Eddie was a great cook and loved cooking for his family and friends. He could fix anything. Eddie worked as a Truck Driver for 30 years.

Preceding him in death are his father, Paul Burks and step-father, Carroll Belin.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Tonda Burks of El Dorado; his mother, Christine Belin of Marion, Louisiana; daughter, Jennifer Hooter (Jeremy) of Pendleton, South Carolina; brother, Rusty Burks (Brenda) of Camden; sisters, Libby Hughes (Robert) and Nancy Nicholson (Terry) of El Dorado; grandchildren, Marlee Grace Hooter and Maddox Wade Hooter of Pendleton, South Carolina; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Perry's Funeral Chapels.
