Beverly Arlene Bowen Moore, 68, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Friday, April 29, 2022, at Arbor Baptist Church in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Dr. Lloyd Stembridge officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at The Paulk Funeral Home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Moore was born October 14, 1953, in Tifton, Georgia, to the late Samuel & Cornelia Phillips Bowen. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and feeding family and friends. Mrs. Moore was a very active member of Arbor Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Wayne Moore of Fitzgerald; seven children: Michael Moore of Forest Park, Brent Merritt of Fitzgerald, Jason Moore of Dallas, Jodi Williams & Adam of Brookwood, Alabama, Mikala Moore of Fitzgerald, Jessica Stidham & Joey of Fitzgerald and Gabe Roberson of Fitzgerald; 16 grandchildren: Morgan Spivey & Erika, Mason Spivey, Macie Spivey, Madie Spivey, Luke Merritt, Katie Merritt, Taylor Moore, Savannah Kucy, Landon Moore, Paul Moore, McKenna Moore, Riley Moore, Kane Roberson, Sara Roberson, Aden Stidham and Michael Moore and numerous great-grandchildren.
