Alice A. Arnold Bastian, 90, of Falconer, passed away Friday, Dec. 31, 2021, at Heritage Village Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing in Gerry. She was born Oct. 30, 1931, in the town of Poland, the daughter of Paul and Ethel Hedrich Arnold. She was a 1949 graduate of Randolph Central School and the WCA Hospital School of Nursing. She served in the U.S. Air Force from Nov. 3, 1961, to April 2, 1965, where she was a first lieutenant. She retired in 1986 from WCA Hospital, where she was a registered nurse and a nursing supervisor for many years. ... She is survived by her sisters-in-law.... She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest N. Bastian, whom she married in 1972 and who preceded her in 1996; a brother, Howard Arnold on April 1, 2021; a nephew, Patrick Arnold on Sept, 22, 2021 and two brothers: Earl (Ethel) Bastian and Gordon (Susan) Bastian. ...
