An Army Veteran, Bill served in both the 17th and 82nd Airborne. Predeceased by his wife Ruth Ward. Bill is survived by his children Kathleen Kelly of AZ., Candis (Jim) Nelson of KY., Christina (Jim Williams) Kolankiewicz & Mark Ward; grandchildren Gina (Richard) Blake, William (Melissa) Ward, Alex (Saswati) Ward, Leah Ward & Thomas Kolankiewicz, great grandson Jason Ward, many nieces and nephews.
William's visitation will be held on Saturday April 23, 11AM to 1PM at the funeral home 1411 Vintage Lane, Rochester, NY 14626. Private Interment in Elmira, NY. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to Honor Flight Rochester Inc at PO Box 23581, Rochester, NY 14692.
