Cindy was raised in Wynne, Arkansas and Cleburne, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University before graduating from Arkansas State University. She retired in 2015, to Jonesboro, Arkansas, after thirty-four years with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service serving in positions in Texas, Alaska, Georgia and Tennessee and Arkansas. She later moved to Little Rock. She was a Craighead County Master Gardener and a member of the Hillcrest Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Patsy Lynn and James.
Survivors: siblings, Lynda Nash (Rush) of Jonesboro, AR, Robert Morris (Janice) of Wynne, AR and Mary Joe "Jodi" Morris of Little Rock, AR; nieces and nephews, William Crowder (Amber) of Jonesboro, Tyler Nash (Charity) of Jonesboro, AR, Sarah Morris of Little Rock, AR, Elizabeth Montgomery of Wynne, AR, LaDonna Joplin of Jonesboro and Rush Nash III (Sharmin) of Arnold, MO; and thirteen great-nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. in the fellowship hall at Family Fellowship Baptist Church, 2441 N. Old Greensboro Road in Jonesboro.
