James Ferrin Bennett, 91, died January 10, 2008 in American Fork.




Born March 15, 1916 in American Fork, Utah the son of James Edward and Emily Crosby Bennett. He married Vilda Nelson in 1948. She died in 1993. He married Katie Schroder in 1994 in the Provo LDS Temple. He was an avid camper and fisherman, he loved snowmobiling, and played several musical instruments, all self taught. He served in the Navy during World War II and worked at Geneva Steel as a crane operator.



Survivors include his wife, Katie, of Am. Fork, a daughter, Connie Jean Brooks (Randy) of Highland, a step-son, Ronald Snyder of Illinois; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.




Funeral Services will be held Tuesday January 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the American Fork 5th Ward, 380 South 300 East. Friends may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, and at the Church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the Services.
Burial in the American Fork City Cemetery. Military Rites by VFW District #4.
