He was married to Clara Alice Parr, on 25 Dec 1873. They resided in the state of Pennsylvania for 4 years and came to the state of Nebraska in the spring of 1877. They settled on a farm in Thayer Township and resided there until the year of 1908 when they moved to Benedict, Nebraska. There he made his home until 4 years ago when he moved to Stromsburg, Nebraska.
He leaves to mourn his departure, one adopted son, Ziba L Osmun of Concordia, Kansas; one brother Jonathan Loreman of Catawissa, Pennsylvania; nieces, nephews and many friends. Services where held at Bethel Church, 21 Jun at 2:30 pm, Rev M.J. Harder, Officiating.
