Services for Mabel F. Disque, 89, Ottawa, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa. Burial will be in Washington Creek Cemetery in Douglas County, west of Globe.

Mrs. Disque died Monday, Sept. 16, 2002, at Ransom Memorial Hospital in Ottawa.

She was born Jan. 11, 1913, in Overbrook, the daughter of William M. and Nancy E. (Terwillegar) Kingery. She moved to Ottawa in 1978 from the Pleasant Grove area in Douglas County.

Mrs. Disque was a homemaker and member of Church of the Brethren in Ottawa.

She married Chester Lee Disque on Dec. 11, 1935, in Pleasant Grove. He died on July 8, 1997.

Survivors include a son, James L. Disque, Murray Hill, N.J., and three grandchildren.
