James A. "Jamie" Howard, 59, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at his residence. He was born on June 26, 1962 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, the son of the late Carolyn (Cook) Howard and Connison "Connie" Howard, who survives. Jamie was an employee of Kimball in Salem, Indiana where he worked as a Mechanical Engineer. He was a proud member of the First Christian Church in Scottsburg, Indiana. Jamie graduated from Jeffersonville High School in 1980 in Jeffersonville, Indiana and later graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor Degree as a Mechanical Engineer. On March 6, 1987, Jamie married Mary Annette (Hutchins) Howard. Jamie enjoyed fishing, hunting, muscle cars, old music, collecting hot wheels, and most importantly spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his mother; grandparents; and niece, Shannon Howard. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Mary Annette (Hutchins) Howard of Scottsburg, Indiana; son, Tanner (Keelie) Howard of Pendleton, Indiana; daughter, Grace (Chelsea) Cohen of Boston, Massachusetts; two sisters, Sena (Jody) Farrell of Kentucky, and Cathie Howard of Jeffersonville, Indiana; two grandchildren, Lincoln and Abel.
