On Thursday, April 7th, 2022 Cynthia Montgomery passed away at the age of 65. Cynthia was born to Reinhard and Margaret Schnurrer. Cynthia grew up in Minnesota and attended Roosevelt High School. She moved to San Diego where she attended Grossmont College and San Diego State University. Cynthia became a financial planner and eventually a real estate agent. Cynthia loved traveling and being a part of her church community at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in El Cajon, California. In fact, she met and married Pete Iannuzzi Sr. at Holy Trinity in 2013. Cynthia loved animals and spoiled her rescue pets with toys and love.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents Reinhard J. and Margaret (Peters) Schnurrer, brother Reinhard J. Schnurrer Jr. and infant sister Rita. She is survived by her husband, Pete Iannuzzi , sister Margaret (Olen) Irwin of Hot Springs, Arkansas, brother Stephen (Brenda) Schnurrer of Brimson, Minnesota and 2 nephews, Joseph and David (Kayla) Schnurrer. A mass in her honor will be on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 10:00 am at Holy Trinity Church, 405 Ballard Street, El Cajon, California. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to your local animal shelter in Cynthia's memory.
