Denise Sara Carter age 49, of Dayton departed this earthly life on Friday, December 14, 2007. Denise was born in Atlantic City, NJ, but had been raised in Dayton, where she attended Dayton Public Schools. Denise accepted Christ as her Savior later in life and was accepted into Valley Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Dayton, OH. She enjoyed her career as a caregiver and was caring and compassionate for those in her charge. She is preceded in death by fathers, William "Bill" Jennings and Perry D. Carter and sister, Lynn R. Fletcher. Left to embrace her memories; mother, Sarah B. Carter; daughters, Deona, Love "Vonnie" and Chiquita Carter; son, Aaron Carter; sisters, Dorothy Kinney, Sue Miller, Sherry Little; (4) brothers, Eric "Ricky", Ambrose "Stan", Andre', all of Dayton and Perry (Yolanda) of Richmond IN; (16) granchildren (whom were her pride and joys); (3) brothers-in-law, Tommy Fletcher, E.C. Miller and Stanley Little. Memorial service 11:00 A.M. THURSDAY, December 20, 2007 at SUMMIT CHRISTIAN CHURCH, 4521 Denlinger Rd., with Pastor J. Thomas Johnson, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Arrangements entrusted to Thomas Funeral Home, 4520 Salem Ave.
