Mrs. Jean Nunn, age 85, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2022, at the Wellstar Tranquility Hospice in Austell, GA. Mrs. Nunn was born on September 3, 1936, to parents, the late Mr. Grady Sanford and Mrs. Isa Sanford. Mrs. Nunn was married to the late Mr. Clarence Stewart "C.S." Nunn until his passing on May 7, 2013. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was always doing for others, making sure they were always taken care of. Mrs. Nunn enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, and spending quality time with her family. She loved Christmas and loved having her home decorated for Christmas. Mrs. Nunn was a light who brought love to all who knew her, and she will be dearly missed.
Mrs. Nunn is survived by her son, Mr. Stewart Nunn (Julie); grandchildren, Jason Chaney, Jesse (Kelley) Nunn, Jacob (Lyssa) Nunn, Chris (Angie) Chaney, Aaron Gerstner and Joseph Gerstner; great-grandchildren, Steven Chaney, Sierra Ocala Chaney, Kaitlyn Reese Chaney, Andrew Chaney, Brennan Gerstner, Samuel Gerstner, Elijah Nunn and Reagan Nunn. Many other relatives and friends also survive.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Nunn was preceded in death by her daughter, Mrs. Cynthia Gerstner.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Rackley officiating.
Interment will follow at the Melrose Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Villa Rica, GA. with Jesse Nunn, Jacob Nunn, Jason Chaney, Aaron Gerstner, Joey Gerstner, Danny Chaney and Chris Chaney serving as Pall Bearers.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at 1:00 PM.
