JUDY YOUNG
Judith Elaine Young, age 71 of Ashdown, AR passed away on April 9, 2022 at her home. Judy was born February 4, 1951 to W.T. and Ina Rae Wade. She worked in insurance until she retired and was an avid genealogist and enjoyed volunteering at the Three Rivers Museum in Ashdown. Judy also liked to work on her embroidery machine and sew. She was a member of Wades Chapel Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack Young, one sister, Donna Crain and one grandson, Brandon Giles.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter in law, Jim and Karen Young of Wilton, Jason Young of Ashdown; one sister, Sherry Newsom of Ashdown, one brother, Mike Wade of Texarkana, AR, four grandchildren, Jason Wade Young, Jr. of Ashdown, Lainee Young of Ashdown, Christina and Michael Williams of Texarkana, TX, Johnathan and Autumn Haggard of Wake Village, TX, and three great grandchildren, Arron Williams, Texarkana , AR, Adriana Cerna and Zoie Williams of Texarkana, TX, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service for Judy will be held on April 14, 2022 at 11 am at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown. The family will receive friends on April 13, 2022 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home chapel. The family will be at 210 S. Ellen in Ashdown.
