Thomas had grown up in the small town of Newton, Iowa where his family and friends had known him by the name Blaine.
Blaine married his high school sweetheart Peggy, then started his career working for the government. Blaine & Peggy eventually settled in Michigan working at Tacom. During his long career he travelled the world, had many adventures, several awards, and he is part of two military packaging hall of fames. He truly loved his job and had the most amazing career. He loved to tell stories to his children and grandchildren of his travels and adventures.
Blaine was a very active man. Growing up he loved to play baseball on leagues and he eventually established and coached a baseball team for his son. During his younger days in Iowa, he was an avid pheasant hunter. He enjoyed playing tennis with friends and co-workers. He taught his grandchildren to play tennis and basketball. He loved to go on bicycle rides with his late wife and grandchildren. In retirement, he loved to play golf with friends and neighbors.
Blaine had a wonderful life and will always be remembered for his everlasting kindness and charisma. After his beloved Peggy had passed, he had married Dorothy and spent many wonderful years together.
Thomas Blaine Wilson is survived by Stan Wilson (Joan) and Tanya Dixon (Dale), his two loving children. He adored his grandchildren Christina (Christopher), Deanna (Thomas), Garret (Tracey), Travis (Marcie), and Audrey (Reid).
He was devoted to helping them with every aspect of their life. He would always have a smile on his face when his many great grandchildren visited. He will be deeply missed as he touched their hearts.
