James Henry Carroll

Mr. James Henry Carroll, age 79, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022 at his home in Uriah, Ala.
Mr. Carroll was born in Bessemer and had been a resident of Uriah for the past 25 years. He was a retired coal miner and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Huffman Carroll; a son, Michael Shane Carroll; and his parents, Jessie James Carroll and Hattie Mae Stacey Carroll.
Survivors include: two sons, James K. Carroll of Bay Minette and Terrell G. Carroll of Woodstock; a brother, Loyd Ray Carroll of McCalla; two sisters, Ann Satterlee of S.C. and Marie Canoso of Oreg.; nine grandchildren and was responsible for raising Destiny and Gunter; and nine great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held at a later date.
