Willie James Jackson entered his earthly home on January 28, 1944 in Hamburg, Arkansas to the late James Edwards Jackson and Isabelle Jackson. He was the eldest of nine children.
He accepted Christ as his personal savior at the age of 31 at Christ Temple Pentecostal Church in which he was a member.
He attended T.W. Daniels and established his career at GP Particle Board until its closing. He also worked as a pulpwood operator. Throughout his life, he demonstrated a strong work ethic and held various jobs up until retirement.
Willie married the late Ida Marie Richardson in the late 60s in which three children were born to this union. In 1975, he married Alice Marie Barnett in which seven children were born.
Willie was a loving husband, father, and devoted grandfather. He was a God-fearing family man who enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, and friends while always encouraging them and anyone who would listen to develop a relationship with God. Serving the Lord was his lifestyle.
Outside of serving the Lord, he was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching basketball, wrestling, and old westerns.
On April 22, 2022, Willie gained his heavenly wings at his home while surrounded by loved ones. He was preceded in death by his father and mother James Edwards Jackson & Isabelle Jackson, daughter LaQuinta Jackson, and sister Linda Williams.

He Leaves to cherish his dedicated loving wife of 48 years to Alice Marie Jackson; 6 sons: Myron (Kittrell) Jackson of San Antonio TX, Scottie (Bridget) Jackson of Victorville CA, Benji Barnes of Boston MA, Jamon (Arlisa) Jackson of Crossett AR, James Jackson of Crestview FL, Marlon Jackson of Seattle, WA; 5 daughters: Joyce Jackson of Victorville CA, Shaunda (Terre) Davis of Port Arthur TX, Tina Austin of Crossett AR, Trina (Derrick) Ellis of Bryant AR, Markisha (Bryan) Smith of Maumelle AR; 2 brothers: Frankie Jackson of Crossett AR, Stevie Robinson of Crossett AR; 7 sisters: Billie Jean (late J.C) McDade, Gwendolyn (Ray) Lewis, Freda Edwards of Crossett AR, Lorene (Ben) Couser of Monroe LA, Stacey (Bryant) Holmes of Belton MO; 1 uncle: Donnie Ray (Emma) Edwards of Augusta GA; godson: Kevin Nalls; special friends Mr. Lee Simpson and Mr. Newt Washington; 30 grand-children, 28 great grand-children, and host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at the Christ Temple Pentecostal Church in Hamburg, AR.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 11:00 AM until 7:00 PM at the chapel of Mitchell Memorial.

Burial will follow in the Pugh Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Memorial Funeral Service of Crossett, AR.
