Robert "Bob" Curtis, age 79, of Ringgold, departed this life on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at the SICU Unit of Hamilton Medical Center surrounded by his loving family as he entered the gates of Heaven.
He was born of July 7, 1942, in Whitfield County, a son of the late Wheeler and Ruby Curtis.
Mr. Curtis was preceded in death by his brother, Vernon Curtis; sister, Bertha Dempsey; granddaughter, Krista Campbell.
He was a member of Valley Baptist Church.
Mr. Curtis is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Judy Moore Curtis; son and daughter-in-law, Robbie and Katrina Curtis of Rossville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Shelia and Dale Campbell of Ringgold, GA; son, Chris Culver of Ringgold, GA; sisters, Dot West, DrucellaTippins, Barbara Smith, Brenda (Harold) Hair; brothers, Kenneth Curtis and Bruce Curtis; grandchildren, Alec Curtis, Brandon Campbell, Briana Campbell, Libbie Curtis, Ty Culver.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Robert Curtis will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Hamm and Rev. Shane Curtis officiating.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 pm at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home.
Burial will be at West Hill Cemetery.
