She was born in Gloversville on June 17, 1930, a daughter of Peter and Nellie Winchell Flood and was educated in local schools.
Wanda was a long-time resident of Broadalbin.
Mrs. Tomlinson was employed as a sales tax department clerk for the NYS Tax & Finance Department in Albany and retired several years ago.
She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and traveling with her husband. Most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends.
She was married to Richard D. Tomlinson, Sr. on September 2, 1950. He died November 25, 2006.
In addition to her husband and parents, Wanda was predeceased by her son, Richard D. Tomlinson, Jr., who died October 1, 2018.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah (Gregory) Coons of Goodyear, AZ; a daughter-in-law, Kimberly Tomlinson of Broadalbin; three grandchildren, Erica (Jeffrey) Haggart, Taylor Coons, and Nikolas Tomlinson (Carlee); and a great-grandson, Jace Haggart.
Burial will be in the Broadalbin-Mayfield Rural Cemetery.
