TERRE HAUTE - Joyce A Little, 72, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday morning, April 12, 2022. She was born May 10, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois to Roger L. Becker and Carolyn Bodnar Becker.
Survivors include her three children, Tammy Dekker (Darren), Tara Garrett (Jeff Woolard), and Thomas D Little III (Heidi), all of Terre Haute; nine grandchildren, Andre (Lawren), Dustin, Derek (Emily), Bayley, Shelby, Emma, Abbi, Layla, and Brinzley; and two great-grandchildren, Harlow and Ezra. Also surviving are her sister, Lynda Serkowski (Jim) of Arizona; brother-in-law, Vincent Little (Cindy) of Terre Haute; sister-in-law, Sandy Papero (John) of California; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas D. Little II; sister, Carol Snow; and a grandson, Brandon.
Joyce formerly owned and operated Little Yard Hoppers Lawn Care. She loved to mow the grass and hunt mushrooms, and always participated with her husband at Pioneer Days at Fowler Park. Joyce loved all animals and never met a stranger. She was a VCSC school bus driver for many years as well as an employee of the Vigo County Parks Department.
Private burial will occur at Roselawn Memorial Park. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Fowler Park Barn Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 1:00 pm.
