Tonya Renee Fletcher, age 45, of Wartrace, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Born in Manchester, Tennessee, on August 16, 1976, Tonya devoted her life to being a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and friend. She was a homemaker who cherished her children and family more than anything in the world. Sweet, kindhearted, funny and a lot of fun, Tonya was always willing to lend others a helping hand. She enjoyed playing outside with her children, shooting pool, playing darts, going on walks, being outdoors, flowers, and fishing. Tonya loved music of all kinds, from hard rock to gospel, with Miranda Lambert's "Blue Bird" being her favorite. She also enjoyed traveling, loved visiting the beach and swimming with her daughter, Taylor. Tonya will be missed dearly by her loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Oscar and Doris Hale; and maternal grandparents, Walter and Hazel Shelton. Survivors include her parents, Marvin Hale and Phyllis Franklin; fiancé of ten years, John Brooks; two sons, Glen (Hayley) Fletcher and Austin Fletcher; daughter, Taylor Fletcher; sister, Rhonda Cargile; niece, Kayla Hill; nephew, Keith Monroe; and beloved dog, Princess. Funeral services will be held at Coffee County Funeral Chapel on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., with Brother Herschel "Buck" Frazier officiating. The family will receive visitors, at the funeral home, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment to immediately follow at Lynch Cemetery in Manchester, (Coffee County) Tennessee. Coffee County Funeral Chapel is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.
