Glen Leon Little, Sr., 69, of Newalla, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021, at the OU Medical Center of Oklahoma City. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 12, 2021, at the Sharon Baptist Church of Shawnee. Brother Clint Dawkins will officiate. Cremation will follow.
Friends may pay their respects 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Glen was born March 10, 1952, in Oklahoma City, to Wilbur and Lillie (Pigg) Little. He was raised and educated in Oklahoma City, graduating from U.S. Grant High School in 1970. He later attended Oklahoma City Community College. Glen served in the United States Navy from 1972 through 1978. He married Carol Davidson on August 2, 1976, in Gainsville, Texas. The couple made their home in Newalla. Glen was a longtime electrical engineer for Channel 4, and later a supervisor for Unit Parts. He was a member of the Sharon Baptist Church of Shawnee. Glen enjoyed his family tremendously, he was a talker, family jokester, and story teller. Under his supervision the family enjoyed "Reindeer Games", and he gave everyone a nickname. Glen loved to sing around the house and just a very happy man.
Survivors include his wife Carol of the home; children Michael and wife Stephanie Davidson of Newalla, Glen "Lee" Little, Jr. and wife Tracey Little of Moore, Angela and husband Jason Hall of McLoud; his mother Lillie Little of Macomb; sisters Debbie Little of Macomb, Sheryl and husband Marc Hirschman of Wellsville, Kansas; many cousins including Alvin Caraway of Oklahoma City; grandchildren Kayla and husband Arthur Mahoney, Samantha Mothersbaugh, Kylie Davidson, Kolby Little, Blake and wife Jesse Hall, Christian and wife Skylar Hall, Nathan Hall and Jaxon Davidson; great-grandchildren Evalyn and Elijah Mahoney, Aliya and Lily Osterloh, and Layken Hall.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A memorial has been established with the Sharon Baptist Church of Shawnee. Contributions may be sent to Sharon Baptist Church, 19002 S Gordon Cooper Dr, Shawnee, OK 74801.
