STAR CITY -
Margie Frizzell James, 80, of Star City, died Tuesday at Jefferson Regional Medical Center at Pine Bluff.
She was born April 7, 1924, in Lonoke County, a daughter of the late Luther B. Frizzell and Alma Tipton Frizzell.
She was retired from the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service office at Star City.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church at Star City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest E. James; one brother, Burnice Frizzell; and one daughter, Betty James Jackson.
Survivors include six brothers, J.T. Frizzell, William H. Frizzell and Nelson Frizzell, all of Star City, Donald Frizzell of Pine Bluff, Johnny Frizzell of Hope Hull, Ala., and Charles Frizzell of Sherwood; and one sister, Zenobie Goggans of Star City.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church with Randy Magar officiating. Burial will be in Best Cemetery near Star City by Griffin Funeral Service at Star City.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
