PLANO, Texas — Patricia "Patty" Ammons Burns Sabo passed from this life on Friday, January 7, 2022, in Plano, Texas, at the age of 84. She was a 1955 graduate of Vienna High School and a longtime Trumbull County resident, working for over 35 years as a cafeteria cook in the Howland Local Schools. Patty enjoyed reading, poetry, watching PBS programs and listening to music. She was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Bob "Bing" Burns; husband, Joseph Sabo; parents, Allen and Gertrude Ammons; sisters, Mary Belden, Lois Geiwitz and Dorothy Klug; and brothers, Jesse, Judson, Richard and Robert Ammons. Patty is survived by her son, Bob (Evelyn) Burns of Austin, Texas; daughter, Brenda (Darren) McKnight of Allen, Texas; grandsons, Ryan (Rachael) McKnight and Kevin (Brooke) McKnight; and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Patty's life at a memorial service at 11 AM, with lunch to follow, on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the Fowler Community Church, 4665 state Route 305, Fowler. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations, in her memory, to your local food bank.
