Coy O. Price, 85, of Cedar Bluff, Virginia passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at his residence following a long illness. Born July 7, 1936 in Russel County, Virginia to the late Samuel Columbus (Lum) Price and Myrtle (Myrtie) Honaker Price. He was a retired U.S. Air Force Veteran with the rank of Senior Master Sargent and he was also retired from NALCO Company. Coy was raised a master mason in the Somerset Lodge #1205 at San Antonino, Texas and was also a member of and district deputy and Past High Priest of O'Keeffe Chapter 26 Royal Arch Masons. He was also past master of the Cedar Bluff Lodge #260 and belong to the Richlands Masonic Lodge #318 and the Pruner Masonic Lodge at Honaker, Virginia. He was a member of the Kazim Shrine Temple at Roanoke, Virginia. He was past secretary and treasurer of Tazewell County Shrine Club.

In addition to his parents, Coy was preceded in death by 6 brothers, Banner, Taze, Paul, Douglas, John Lee and Grady; 4 sisters Elgie Wolford, Elizabeth "Betty" Honaker, Doisie Mae Peevy and Mary Ellen Sauls; 2 sons, Ricky Allen Price and Darrell Lee Price.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Clara Strouth Price; 2 daughters, Carolyn Dianna Phillips and husband Robert and Cynthia Daphne Price; 1 son, Rodney Allen Price and wife Malinda; 1 sister, Molly Johnson; 4 grandchildren, Jonathan Price, Kensington Price, Jacob Price and Kambrie Price.

The family will receive friends after 6:00 P.M. Monday, April 25, 2022 at Singleton Funeral Service with Masonic services at 7:00 P.M.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Steve Musick officiating. Entombment will follow at the Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Claypool Hill, Virginia. Pallbearers will be nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
