Roy Franklin Lancaster, 78, of Greencastle, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020.
Born January 6, 1942, in Greencastle, he was the son of Samuel and Mary (O'Neal) Lancaster. He was a United States Navy Veteran and a member of the American Legion.
Roy retired from IBM in 1995, where he worked as an analyst.
He loved to be outdoors, hunting, fishing, or trapping.
Roy is survived by his sons, Steve (wife, Rhonda) Lancaster and Mike Lancaster and companion, Gwen Costin; brothers: Samuel Henry (wife Pat) Lancaster and Earl (wife Sharon) Lancaster; grandsons, Cameron (wife, Leja) Lancaster and Nathan (wife, Emma) Lancaster; great-grandchildren, Lucy Lancaster and Wesson Lancaster.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother & sister-in-law, Darrell & Susie Lancaster.
Private funeral services will be held with military graveside honors. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
