Visitation will be Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home in Goldthwaite, Texas. Graveside service will be Friday, November 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Zephyr Cemetery, Zephyr, Texas with Ron Milne officiating.
Shirley was born January 21, 1949, in Brady, Texas to Paul Cottle & Nina Bell Ake Cottle. She was married on January 12, 1968 in Brownwood, Texas to Clyde Richardson "Richey" Reed.She was a beautician and a teacher's aide.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Cottle; her husband, Clyde Richardson "Richey" Reed; her brother, Sammie Cottle; and her niece, Julie Banks Smith.
She is survived by her children and spouses, Sherry kay Aguerro and Ronnie of DeLeon, Texas, Rina Elaine Thompson and Jason of Stephenville, Texas, Monte Clyde Reed and Dee of Temple, Texas, Kerry Alice Jones and Bo of Austin, Texas, her grandchildren, Alex Paul Newton Aguerro and Louis Reed Preciliano Aguerro, Richard Lee Thompson and James Reed Thompson, Kaydee Irene Reed, Kelsey Shay Reed and Dillion Clyde Reed, Lillian Star Jones and Sunny Blue Jones, her mother, Nina Cottle Brownwood, Texas, her siblings, Sandra Cottle Banks of Blanket, Texas, Obie Lee Cottle of Cuero, Texas and Brenda Estes of New Braunfels, Texas.
