Ray Hall, 90, of Waynesburg, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022 at his residence.

He was born August 2, 1931 in Waynesburg; son of the late Felix & Bessie (Cornett) Hall. He served in the United States Navy from 1952 to 1956 as a Damage Controlman Third Class aboard the USS Heerman (DD-532). He traveled around the world from 1953 to 1954 aboard this ship. He was a farmer for most of his life and also worked at the Stanford Creamery and at People's Tobacco Warehouse in Danville.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalee (Martin) Hall; a daughter Catherine Dickhaus of Waynesburg; a grandson, Allen Dickhaus of Waynesburg; a granddaughter, Jenny Dickhaus of Waynesburg; a great-grandson, JJ Gross of Waynesburg; great-granddaughters, Mikaela, Zoe, Anna, and Issabella, all of Waynesburg, and Emmerson of Cincinnati; a sister, Eva Harris of Waynesburg; and a brother, Joe Hall of Somerset.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Roy Hall, Clarence Venoy, and Thomas Hall; and two sisters, Audra Denmyer and Mary Coleman.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Daulton officiating.

Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery.

Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post # 18.

Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
