Harold Dean Miller, age 88, of Lawson, Missouri passed away on April 19, 2022 at home surrounded by family. The funeral will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the Lawson Assembly of God Church in Lawson, Missouri. Private burial will be held immediately following the funeral.


Dean was born on June 21, 1933 in Kansas City, Missouri. He is the son of the late Harmon Miller and the late Hazel Irene (Jones) Miller. He married Dorothy Rae (Warner) on August 16, 1956 in Rover, Missouri. Together they had three handsome sons and two beautiful daughters. When he was younger he loved riding horses, camping, and riding his four-wheeler. In recent years he loved riding around Lawson in his Gator or as he called it his "doodle bug." Family was important to Dean. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Dean was a member of the Lawson Assembly of God Church.


Dean was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dorothy, and son Danny.


He is survived by two sons; Dean (Heidi) and Kenny (Deana), two daughters; Kathy (Gene) Guilkey, and Irene (Eddie) Harrison, and daughter-in-law, Michelle Miller, 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
