She was born in Syracuse, New York on December 30, 1952, the daughter of the late Gerald G. and Dolores (Ellington) Vanderpool.
Rachel worked as a Healthcare Administrator.
She is survived by her son, Taylor L. Wilson; daughter, Laurissa Wilson; son, Tremayne M. Wilson; seven siblings, Deborah, Gwendolyn, Tonette, Theresa, Denice, Grant, and Paris; four grandchildren, Jada, Taylor, Chariya, and Cayden; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Interment will take place in Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse, NY.
