Mary Frances Brooks, 80, of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on April 19, 2022.

She was born on June 26, 1941 to the late Linden Stillwell and Ozella Craig.

Mary gave her life to the Lord many years ago and was a faithful member of Greater Emmanuel Gospel Tabernacle in Charleston. She loved singing, attending church, hearing the word of God, and giving God the praise at all times.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sons, Jerry and Clark Lacy.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Willie Brooks; sons Kenneth Williams (Roslyn) and Chris Brooks (Tiffany); step-sons, Tony and Dewayne Brooks; sisters, Janet Bolland and Nancy Jones (Fred); 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27, at King of Glory International Ministries, Charleston with Bishop Norman Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the church.
