John "Corky" Pratt Hooe was born in Wardville, OK, the son of John P. and Cecil (Witherspoon) Hooe. He attended Wardville Grade School. Corky was a rancher and member of the Wardville Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; and cousins, Cleve Hooe, Naomi Pemberton, and Bobby Witherspoon. Service will be held March 4, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Brown's Funeral Service in Coalgate, OK. Interment will be at Wardville Cemetery, Wardville, OK.
