Wayde McCain Gamel, 89, of Valley, Ala., formerly of Cedartown, passed away Friday, Oct. 22, 2004. She was born Sept. 8, 1915 in Lineville, Ala. to the late Glover and Annie Martin McCain. She was a Corporal in the United States Army serving in World War II. Her husband, Veto Gamel, precedes her in death. She is survived by a stepson, Don Gamal of Stone Mountain; a brother, Marvin McCain of Lynnhaven, Fla.; three step grandchildren, a number of step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral was conducted Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Underwood and Rev. Michael Densmore officiating. Interment followed at the Northview Cemetery. The pallbearers were Henry Brown, Jimmy Lankford, Allen McCain, Mark McCain, Russell Tinney and Jeff Rickett. The Olin L.
