Long-time Wilburton resident, Charles White Jr., went home to be with Jesus on Monday, April 18, 2022.
Charles was born July 26, 1949, to Charles White and Rosie Mae (Noah) White. He was the sixth of seven siblings.
He graduated in 1967 from Red Oak High School. After graduation, Charles attended Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton, where he earned an associate degree in Electrical Engineering.
Charles spent the majority of his career with Arkla Gas Company in Wilburton, OK, where he retired after 25 years of service. During the 1980s, Charles was also the owner of White's Grocery in Red Oak.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Bobby Joe (Joker) Martin, and one sister, Virginia Ann (Sis) White Vinson.
Survivors include: his beloved daughter, Amy White Fair of Stillwater, OK; his grandchildren, Christian Charles Fair and Alayna Martin Fair, both of Stillwater; his brothers, Robert Dean White, Johnny Lee White, and Leslie Dale White; sister, Patricia Jane (Goldie) White; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Special extended family members include: Latt, Lizzie, Jewel, and Jade Jeffrey; Lane, April, and Livia Jeffrey; Claudia Jeffrey, Rowdy, Tiffany, Aubrey, Landry, and Lucas Layton, Steve Fair, and Ryan Ashley.
A visitation will be held from 9am to 4pm Friday, April 22, 2022, at Jones-Harkins Funeral Home in Wilburton.
Charles' Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 11 am at North Rock Creek Cemetery in Red Oak, OK. The service will be officiated by Kerry White.
Following the service, all family and friends are invited to the First Baptist Church of Red Oak for food and fellowship.
Pallbearers will be Christian Fair, Latt Jeffrey, Lane Jeffrey, Blake White, and Alex Robinson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kent White, Keith White, Stan Vinson, Randy Hignight, Tommy Cockburn, and Kevin Statham.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude's Childrens' Research Hospital.
