Born January 18, 1961, at Mullens, he was the son of the Mary L. (Shutt) Green and Sampson Green.
Joe loved being outside working on cars.
In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Helen Green; one grandchild, Tristan Phyllis McKinney.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Mary Green; one daughter, Anita Green; two sons, Sam and Scott Green; three sisters, Doreen Parker, Mary Lee Shumate, and Virginia Bailey; one brother, Sampson Junior Green; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Graveside service and burial will be 1:00 P.M., Monday, April 11, 2022 at the Bud Cemetery, Bud.
Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery.
