Ms. Janet Phelps, age 76, of Winder, Georgia passed away March 10, 2018. A daughter of the late Richard G. and Bernice Malloy Phelps, she was born March 27, 1941 in Rochester, New York. A resident of Winder for the past twenty years, she was retired Winder Publix florist. Ms. Phelps was a former resident of New Port Richey, Florida and was preceded by a Son, Robert Merrill. She was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church.
Surviving are Children, Lori Merrill Jett of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Chris Merrill of Winder, Georgia, David Merrill of Statham, Georgia, Donald Merrill of Winder, Georgia, James Merrill of McDonough, Georgia, Michelle Merrill Meyer of Statham, Georgia and Craig Merrill of Auburn, Georgia, Eighteen Grandchildren, Siblings, Jennifer Chapman of North Carolina, Richard Phelps of New York and Laurie Beardsley of New York.
The Family will receive friends, Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 12:00 P. M. until 1:00 P. M. at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 25 Wilkins Road, Winder, Georgia 30680, with the Memorial Service beginning at 1:00 P. M. at the church with Reverend Gilbert Exume' officiating.
