Maria De La Luz Espinosa "Lucita", 82, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022. She was born on May 18, 1939 in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico to her mother, Sotera Espinosa. Maria raised six children with her husband Guadalupe. Maria was a great daughter, mother, wife, sister, and friend to everyone. Maria loved watching TV, drinking coffee and eating pan dulce every day. She loved going to the casinos to gamble even if she didn't come home with any winnings, and also playing Mexican Bingo. She was faithful and believed in God. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Perez; daughter, Blandina Perez Narvaez; mother, Sotera Espinosa; and brother, Inocencio Espinosa.

Maria is survived by her children, Maricela Perez Narvaez, Sergio Perez Narvaez, Hyaseeliny Perez Narvaez, Eradyn Perez Narvaez, and Dagny Perez Narvaez; grandchildren, Ponchin, Michelle, Astrid, Lenin, Keylen, and Gael; and a host extended family and friends.

Friends are welcome to visit with the family from 10:00am to 1:00pm, with the recitation of the rosary to begin at 1:00pm on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Sterling White Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 3:00pm in Sterling White Cemetery.
