Funeral services for Arlen Clarence Wisdom, 74, Eudora, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Wisdom died Saturday, May 27, 2006, at the Eudora Nursing Center.

He was born July 11, 1931, in Ozark, Ark., the son of Seth Earl and Lessie Mae Bethany Wisdom. He moved to Eudora in 1951.

He worked for Stokely Van Camp in Lawrence for 25 years before opening A & B Auto Service in 1976. When the station closed in 1992, it was the last full-service station in Eudora.

He married Robbie McRoy on Dec. 27, 1952, in Clarksville, Ark. She survives, of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Bob, Garnett, and Terry, Eudora; two daughters, Debbie Flint and Tammy Ziesenis, both of Lawrence; one brother, Lloyd, Lawrence; two sisters, Geneva Gary and Collene Long, both of Eudora; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A son, Bill, died in 1999.
