Randy Harrell, 67, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022 at his home.
He was born on November 5, 1954 in Springfield, the son of Larry Harrell and Carol (Foster) Harrell-Lane. He married Vanetta Marie Sponsler on December 1, 1973 in Springfield and she preceded him in death on December 18, 2018.
Randy worked as a manager for Prairie Farms in Springfield for 25 years, retiring in 2017. He enjoyed camping and fishing.
He is survived by his 2 sons, Adam Harrell of Springfield, and Andrew "Andy" (wife Marygail) Harrell of Bulverde, TX; his mother Carol Harrell-Lane; 2 grandchildren, Leyton and Alina Harrell; his brother Greg Harrell; his sister Jill (husband Mark) Forgas; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife Vanetta, he was preceded in death by his father Larry Harrell and his sister Yvonne Killion.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield, where a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 1 to 3 pm. Per his wishes, cremation rites were accorded.
