Mr. John Frank Watson left for his Heavenly home on Saturday April the 9th at 7:25 pm surrounded by loved ones. He was a husband , father, son, and so much more to everyone who knew him. He loved the Lord and he loved his family . He shrived to live for the Lord daily and made sure his kids and grandkids knew the Lord as well.
He enjoyed fishing , playing dominoes and visiting with friends. He was a Brick Mason for many years . He built his business Watson Masonry and taught his sons the trade also. He was the most generous and giving man, he was always willing to lend a helping hand. He always put others ahead of himself. He will be missed by many. The legacy he left behind in his children and grandchildren will carry on for many years to come.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Alice Ann Watson, his father and mother Thomas Wayne and Marcella Watson. Three brothers Leon Watson, LE Watson, and Kenneth Watson also one sister Edith Troy Watson. One great grand daughter McKinzie Shyann Bernard.
He is survived by three sons and daughter in laws . Johnny and Connie Watson of Maydelle , Phillip and Lindy Watson of Rusk , Adam and Chastity Watson of Rusk. A daughter and son in law Sarah and Marty Campbell of Sardis. A brother and sister in law RK and Neva Watson of Maydelle. Two sister in laws Oletha Watson of Troup , Joyce Watson of Rusk. 13 grand kids and 17 great grandkids. A special cousin Ernestine Watson of Oakland. Also numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 14th to begin at 2:00pm at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church in Rusk with Bro. Brad Turlington officiating.
A visitation will begin at 1:00pm prior to the service.
