Mattie Mae Shelton, 74, of Ocala, FL, went home to be with the Lord on April 16, 2022 after a two-year battle with cancer. She was born on September 9, 1947. She retired from Closet Maid after 20 years of service. She was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother who shared her love for the Lord, singing and music with her family. She also loved her church, working with the children and was a faithful choir member up until her health declined.
Her memory will be cherished by her four children, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, her brother, uncle, a host of cousins, nephews, nieces and loved ones. Homegoing services will be held April 22, 2022 at 11am at the New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church, 606 SW Broadway, Ocala, FL 34475.
