On Sunday, April 17th Lauren took the hand of God. Lauren is guided by her MomMaw, Lois Jones to join her PawPaw, Walter Jones. Those left to cherish her memory are her sweet daughter, Juliana Wilcher; mother, Susan Davis; father, Kenneth (Erin) Davis; sisters, Katie and Morgan Davis; nieces, April Davis and Sophie Franklin; nephew, Aiden Davis; uncles, Eddie (Debbie Robinson) Jones, Gary Jones, and John Davis; aunts, Shirley (Chip) Scruggs and Frances Ayers; Cousins, Aaron Robinson, Kari (Daniel) Rothamel, Trey (Jessica) Scruggs, Kinsey (Aaron) Parham, Brandon (Alana) Scruggs; paternal grandparents; Patricia Morgan and Kenneth Davis; many other aunts and cousins.
Lauren graduated from Patrick Henry High School. She was employed at Berglund and Papa John's. Lauren's love for her beautiful daughter, Juliana was unmeasurable, and overflowing with happiness and pride. They loved going on adventures in nature as well as adventures in their home, she and Juliana loved to play together. Lauren loved her family and would do anything for anyone, she doted especially on April, Aiden, and Sophie. She enjoyed life and had a positive outlook. She recently was with her grandmother when she passed. Lauren was such an amazing and beautiful soul. She was and is loved by many, and will never be forgotten. Her smile was the brightest and her laugh the sweetest. Her words were spoken with strength and gratitude. She loved a lot and was loved a lot. While Lauren's departure is heavy and heartbreaking, we ask to keep a strong heart and mind, as Lauren would have wanted us to.
A service of witness and resurrection will be at Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church, 1837 Grandin Road SW, Roanoke, VA 24015, on Monday April 25, 2022 at 1:00, with a reception to follow.
